8He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. This verse is taking about Jesus and how he was persecuted for the sake of us. Every sin that we comitted, he has already paid for. And he did this because he loves us.
So, if Jesus paid for these sins, then it is safe to say that when I am forgiven, they are as if they never existed? And when I bring them up, it's like recreating that situation.
This is the most beautiful site, redemption through a perfect sacrifice. Every sinner, no matter how great the sin, can be forgiven, and redeemed in the eyes of the Lord. How interesting.
