Resurrection and the Life - John 11

John 11
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
One of the definitions of resurrection comes from a Late Latin word resurgere, which means "to rise again". So many believe that resurrection is stritcly being brought back to life, but in reality Jesus can resurrect anything.

Jesus said "resurrection and the life" that word "and" connects the two words "resurrection" and "life" He causes the lost things to rise and live again.

Jesus is quite litterally these two things (and isn't saying this as a figure of speech), and without them He wouldn't have been able to come back from death and most definately would not have been GOD if He could not do so.

The point?

Perhaps you've lost something, like your salvation.
Perhaps you had a gift and no longer use it.
Perhaps your depressed from some tragedy.
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.
Whatever it may be.

This is the what the Lord said to me, "Rise and live again. Come out of that tomb." What other God can resurrect and bring life back to something that is already dead? None other than our God!

Amen.
